Status
I am Delphine Franco. Since February 2017 I am an assistant and PhD candidate at the Department of Educational Studies at Ghent University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Martin Valcke (supervisor) and Prof. Dr. Ruben Vanderlinde (co-supervisor).
PhD project
My PhD project focuses on the assessment and the development of student teachers’ competences regarding dealing with verbal aggression of students in the classroom.
Background information
I obtained my Master’s degree in Educational Sciences at Ghent University in 2013. Before starting my PhD, I had a four-year non-academic career in the field of pedagogy.
