I am Tina Gryson. Since January 2020, I am a PhD candidate at Ghent University making an interdisciplinary PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tony Valcke (Faculty of Political and Social Sciences), Prof. Dr. Ruben Vanderlinde (Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences) and Prof. Dr. Katrien Strubbe (Faculty of Sciences).
My PhD project focuses on the course Project Integrated General Subjects. This course integrates different general subjects and is taught in the vocational track of secondary education in Flanders. The aim of my PhD project is to investigate how Teacher Design Teams can be a useful tool for curriculum development in Project Integrated General Subjects. The final goal is to enhance the learning outcomes of the students.
I obtained my Master’s degree in Art History and Archaeology at the VUB in 2017. In 2019, I obtained my Master’s degree in Sociology and my Teacher Qualification for Secondary Education at Ghent University. Before starting my PhD, I’ve been a teacher Project Integrated General Subjects.
