Status
I am Hanne Tack. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Educational Studies at Ghent University. Above, I also teach the course ‘Practitioner research’ in the Flemish-wide newly established educational program for teacher educators.
Research
My research interests focus on teacher education in general, with a particular interest in teacher educators’ professional development. I publish on this topic in SSCI journals, participate in multiple (inter)national conferences and write about my findings in more practitioner-oriented journals as well.
Background information
I obtained my Master’s degree in Educational Sciences at Ghent University in 2013. In august 2017, I successfully defended my PhD dissertation ‘Towards a better understanding of teacher educators’ professional development: Theoretical and empirical insight into their researcherly disposition’.
